The Academy for Professional Education and Training (APET), is an education and training organisation that provides vocational education and continuing professional development training in engineering and technical management, for personnel in the transportation, facilities, utilities, manufacturing, mining, processing, energy, and defence industries. The vocational education courses are offered online, and the continuing professional development training courses are offered in classroom delivery mode either in-company or in-house, as well as specialisation courses at public venues.

The goal of APET’s Vocational Education Program is the development and delivery of vocational education courses of acceptable content and duration in compliance with future registration as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). These courses range in duration from 1 to 3 semesters.
